Mobility!

After a month or more of trying, Drew finally got the crawling thing figured out. He's been getting up on all fours and rocking back and forth for a long time now, but until today he's only been able to go backwards. He has done pretty well getting around by pivoting and rolling, but he would always eventually get frustrated and end up on his tummy and flailing his arms and legs. This afternoon, however, after his nap, he got up on all fours and finally moved his knees, one at a time, and got to moving forward. He was enticed by Harold the Helicopter, once of Zach's toys. By this evening when Mike got home, he could move four or five steps forward. It's so cute to watch him because he looks like he's trying really hard and focusing very intently. Zach said this evening, "We're gonna have to get out the gate now!" I had just been thinking the same thing, which was kind of funny.
